TeachBack is a research platform organized within the frame of Life Long Burning. It's an initiative that sets out to construct answers to a European dance scene in need of new teaching and training methods in the field of Contemporary Dance. The point of departure for the Budapest TeachBack session is the question of transferring pedagogical problems and aspects directly into a performative context. Can we performatively thematize pedagogies? And how can a pedagogical subject reformulate itself within a performance?

The TeachBack documentation contains information about the program, the landmarks (what we actually did every day), our daily collection of notes, quotes, questions and many reflections. The aim is to offer an insight, perhaps food for thoughts, trigger further questions or just to have a glimpse of what we had done. 

The invited teachers were: Gál Eszter; Peter Pleyer; Varga Viktória; Kelemen Patrik; Yelena Arakelow; Várnagy Kristóf; Hadi Júlia; Susanne Martin; Bakó Tamás with guests: Grélinger Ágnes; Murányi Zsófia.
