July 23-27 (Master Lab), July 27-29 IDOCDE Symposium

Instant-compose a socio-political, choreographic sculpture with your peers

The 2018 IDOCDE symposium concerns itself with process, relationship, the collective and the individual. It offers the embodied knowledge of the participating co-lecturers - you?! - as a real-time response to the needs of the here and now.

Creativity is improvised...Thus, we invite you to bring your practices, what you find important, your curiosity and playfulness: we take it from there to prepare for the unknown together. The co-lecturers develop the program together with the IDOCDE Team and authors in a five-day-Master lab preceding the public symposium weekend.

Meet the idea and become a co-lecturer! Please send your motivation letter to We are interested in where you are at. Feel free to suggest collaborators and / or ideas for our exciting experiment in your motivation letter.

Participating co-lecturers will receive:

  • Free accommodation for the duration of MIND THE DANCE residency and the IDOCDE symposium: staying with members of the local dance community and their supporters.

  • Free access to all Symposium events.

  • Access to all MIND THE DANCE material, including the authorization/certification to disseminate material.
